Chesapeake - Helen Delois Simons, 71, of the 1900 block of Robert Hall Blvd., departed this life February 3, 2009. Born in Chesapeake, she was employed with Golden Triangle for over 30 years until her retirement.

She was predeceased by two daughters, Monalisa Thomas and Deborah Anderson. Survivors included three daughters, Teresa A. Anderson of Philadelphia, Glenda L. Simons and Jacqueline Simons of Chesapeake; two sons, William M. Anderson (Joyce) of Chesapeake and Ronnie N. Anderson (Barbara L.) of Portsmouth; one sister, Joyce D. Bonner of Chesapeake; one uncle, and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held 12:00 pm Saturday at New Weeping Mary Baptist Church. Viewing will be held 2pm – 7 pm Friday at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake.
