Obituary
Chesapeake - Helen Whitney Whitaker, 73, of the 1900 block of Robert Hall Blvd., departed this life, May 27, 2012. Born in Norfolk, she was an Administrative Assistant at Bank of America until her retirement.
She is survived by her sons, John C. Flowers, LTC, USA (Retired) and Eric Flowers, one brother,
Noble L. Whitney, Sr.; three sisters, Lillie Pierce, Joyce Howard and Sandra Grant; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A memorial service will be held 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 681 Oak Grove Road in Chesapeake. Condolences can be offered to the family at www.pretlowandsons.com.
