Chesapeake – Henry Lee Staton, 67, of the 2900 block of Knight Road departed this life February 12, 2010. Born in Norfolk, he retired from the US Air Force in 1984 and from the Norfolk Naval Base after 15 years.

He is survived by his wife Erma L. Staton of Chesapeake; one daughter, Teresa D. Staton of Portsmouth; one son, Andre D. Staton (Shantel) of Chesapeake; one sister, two brothers, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 1:00 pm at Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery, 5310 Milner's Road, Suffolk. Viewing will be held from 3 pm – 7 pm Tuesday at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake.
