Norfolk-Horace Clinton Lucas Sr., 85, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, June 26, 2013. He was born in Norfolk, VA and was a member of St. Thomas AMEZ Church, Norfolk.

He was predeceased by two daughters, Janice Lucas and Patrice Davis. He survived by his wife of 68 years, Beaudell Lucas; eight children, Horace Jr. (Malissa), Brenda Vaughn (Ollie), Sandra Davis (Randolph), Francine, Gary (Linda), Donald (Barbara), Aletha (Eddie), and Rhonda Dozier (Christopher), and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 1, 2013 at St. Thomas AMEZ Church, Norfolk at 12pm. Rev Dr. Joseph Lamb Sr., will preside. The burial will follow at Roosevelt Memorial Park. The viewing will be held at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake on Sunday, June 30th from 11am – 5pm. Condolences can be offered to the family at www.pretlownandsons.com.
