Irene Turner passed away peacefully on April 14, 2023; joining her parents John Lee and Shirley Turner.She was born and raised in Chesapeake 
Virginia. Irene accepted Christ as her savior at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church, where she served faithfully as a member of the Senior Choir.

Irene is survived by three sons; Gregory, Dementrius and George;twenty-two grandchildren; two sisters Regina and Annette Turner; one brother 
Darren Turner; two aunts Cecelia Reid and Dorothy Williams; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving family members and friends.

A funeral service will be held Monday, April 24, 2023 at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church, 6421 Providence Rd, Virginia Beach. Interment will follow at
Roosevelt Memorial Park. Viewing will be held from 3pm until 5pm Sunday, April 23, 2023 at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home.
