Iris Cell Debrow was called into the eternal embrace of rest on June 15, 2024. Iris was born, September 26, 1952, in Norfolk County to the late Neomi Reid and Matthew Gilliam, believers in Christ, enjoyment and music. She is survived by her husband, Richard Debrow. Iris was a sister to Joe and Rose Reid, now accompanying them in Love, Light, and Christ.

Iris was a mother of two sons, Richard Debrow Jr. and Alexander Debrow, and daughter, Kathalena Debrow. Iris was also a grandmother to eight grandchildren: Coreyonté, Keontaé Caudle, Christopher Ethridge, Lamont Etheridge, Drevoné Etheridge, Jamar Robinson, Jayceon Debrow and Krystal Etheridge.

A funeral service will be held 1:00 pm on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake. Viewing will be held from 5pm until 7pm on Friday, June 21, 2024, at the funeral home.
