James "Frankie" Bell, 66, of Chesapeake, Virginia peacefully passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2015. Born in Norfolk, VA, he was the son of James Bell and Dorothy Stewart.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife of 33 years, Gwendolyn A. Bell; his two daughters, Sherrie and Jamie Bell; his loving grandson, Jay Bell; one brother, Thomas Bell; three sisters, Evelyn Montgomery, Patricia Bell, and Gloria Gaylord; one uncle, William Stewart, and a host of in-laws, nephews, nieces, and friends.

A funeral service will be held 12 noon Friday at Gabriel Chapel AME Zion Church. Interment will follow at Roosevelt Memorial Park. Viewing will be from 3-7pm Thursday at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake. Condolences can be offered to the family at www.pretlowandsons.com.
