Chesapeake
– Janey B. Washington, 58, of the 3100 block of Bruno Drive departed this life April 1, 2010. Born in Chesapeake, she was employed at the Ford Plant for over 16 years.
Survivors include four children, two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, four sisters, six brothers, a stepmother, and a host of relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 12 pm at New Foreman Temple AMEZ, 2313 Benefit Rd in Chesapeake. Pastor Griffin will be officiating. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be held Monday from 3 pm – 7 pm at Pretlow and Sons Funeral, Chesapeake.
