Javanda Elizabeth Williams was born on September 12, 1971 in Columbus, Ohio at Ohio State University Hospital. She was called home to a better place on Sunday afternoon at 5:00 p.m. September 4, 2016 at the age of 44. She was a United States Army Veteran.

Javanda left behind six children, Quincy and Shanice of Norfolk, Quanise of Richmond, Syrus, Silas and Torre of Norfolk. She was the oldest daughter of Alise and Willie B. Primus. She is survived by four sisters, Johnnetta of Columbus, Ohio, Jabias of Texas, Jamantha of Las Vegas and Mary Ann Sanders; three brothers, Johnathon of Texas,Jamar of Columbus, Ohio and Willie Covington. She has three aunts Veronica of New York, Genevia and Lessie of Columbus, Ohio; two uncles, James and Paul of Columbus, Ohio, and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A memorial service will be held 6:00 p.m. Monday, September 12, 2016 at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, 500Liberty Street, Chesapeake.
