Portsmouth - Johnetta O'Neal, 89, of the 100 block of Allard Drive departed this life September 15, 2007. A native of Portsmouth, she was employed with Portsmouth General Hospital for over 40 years until her retirement. She was a member of Triumph Church of God in Christ where she was the mother of the church.





She is predeceased by her husband, Joseph O'Neal and her daughter, Dorothy Parker. Survivors include, a sister, a grandson, James Smith, five great grandchildren, Frankie Smith (Gloria) and Waverly Barrett (Mary) of Norfolk, Daniell Gambrell (James) of Chesapeake, Tracy Jacobs (Allen) of Suffolk, and Casandra Barrett of Chesapeake, twelve great-great grandchildren, one great-great-great child, and a host of relatives and friends.
