Obituary
Chesapeake – Josephine Bell Neal, 77, of the 900 block of Keel Street departed this life January 10, 2011. Born in Chesapeake, she was a member of Little Zion Missionary Baptist Church, where she was a Deaconess, and a member of the Senior Choir and the Joy Club.
She is predeceased by his her parents, Cora L. Bell and Nathan Bell, two sisters, Willie Mae Bell and Mildred Abney, and brother, Willie Bell, Sr.
Survivors include her husband, Raymond L. Neal, Sr. of Chesapeake; three sons, Tyrone Bell (Gwen) of Virginia Beach, Raymond L. Neal, Jr. (Yvette) of Chesapeake, and Michael Neal (Vernice) of Portsmouth; six grandchildren, four great grandchildren, a sister, Rosa Lee Holley of Chesapeake, one aunt, a dear friend, Angela Lee, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A funeral service will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Little Zion Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Roosevelt Memorial Park. Viewing will be held Thursday from
3pm-7pm at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake. You may offer condolences to the family at www.prewtlowandsons.com .
