Josephine Irving Tyree was called home to be with the Lord on November 25, 2018. She was a long time member of First Baptist Church, Berkley.

She was preceded in death by her husband Rev. Dr. William D. Tyree, Jr. Survivors include her children Linda T. Kyle (James), Sabrina T. Pugh (Kenneth), and Pastor William D. Tyree, III (Shirley), three grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 am on Friday, November 30, 2018 at First Baptist Church, Berkley, 706 Berkley Avenue Ext, Norfolk, where viewing will be on Thursday, November 29, 2018 from 6pm until 8pm at the church. Interment will be at Roosevelt Memorial Park. Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
