Chesapeake – Josephine Wilson, 55, of the 2500 block of Rock Creek Drive departed this life November 28, 2008. She was employed as a Teacher's Assistant for over 20 years with the Stop Organization. She was a member Union Baptist Church, Virginia Beach where she served on the Young Adult Usher Board.

She was predeceased by her husband, Elton J. Wilson and her father, Joseph Jones Sr. Survivors include her daughter, Tia Wilson of Virginia Beach, her mother, Beatrice Jones of Chesapeake, six sisters, six brothers, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
