Joyce Ann Owens peacefully entered eternal rest on Sunday, April 28, 2024, in Norfolk, Virginia.  Born June 1, 1951, in Roper, North Carolina, she was the daughter of Linwood and Annie Webb. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert Owens.

She is survived by her sons, Alphonso Webb, Shawn Lane, and Robert Jones; stepson, Demetrius McClease; daughters-in-law Felicia Webb, and Nakia Caperton; special son, Amos Howard; sisters, Shirley Carter, Linda Hinnant and Nicey Webb; brothers, Linwood Webb, Jr., Rudolph Webb and Michael Webb; seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.and a host of grandchildren, relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, 500 Liberty Street, Chesapeake, Virginia 23324. Viewing will be held from 6pm until 8pm on Friday, May 3, 2024, at the funeral home.
