Juanita B. Stevens, 75, of the 600 block of Bette's Way departed this life May 3, 2013. Born in Norfolk, she was a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School Class of 55, and employed at the Norfolk Naval Supply Center for over 30 years until her retirement. She was a faithful member of First Trinity AME Church, where she served on the Steward Board, Finance Committee, Missionary and Church Secretary.

She is survived by her husband, William "Joe" Stevens of Chesapeake; two daughters, Yvette Lowe of Portsmouth and Karin Davis (William) of Chesapeake; one son, Warren R. Stevens (Robin) of Norfolk, three grandchildren, two great grandchildren, one aunt, and a host of family and friends.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday at First Trinity AME Church, 1301 Elco Street, Chesapeake. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be held from 3-7pm Wednesday at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake, where the family will receive friends from 6-7pm.
