Juanita S. Williams, 85, passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2013. She was a native of Charlotte County, Virginia, born to the late Alonzo Staten and Nannie Johnson on April 4, 1928. She was an employee of Guille Steel for over ten years and served as a cook at Christopher Hall nursing home for over 15 years. Mrs. Williams was a faithful member of Faith Deliverance Christian Center in Norfolk for almost 25 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Purnish Williams, a daughter, Marjorie Olivia Williams, four sisters and six brothers. To cherish her memory, she leaves behind two daughters; Maude R. Grazier of Norfolk, Annette Williams Hawkins (Darrell) of Chesapeake; two sons, Anthony Williams (Delydia) of Norfolk, Leroy Williams of New York; one sister Bernice Wilson of New York; a sister-in-law, Delcia Staten of Chesapeake, fifteen grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Viewing will be held from 1pm-5pm Sunday , July 21, 2013 at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, located at 500 Liberty Street, Chesapeake. Home Going service will be in at 11 am on Monday July 22, 2013 at Shekinah Glory International, 149 Business Park Drive, Virginia Beach, VA 23462. Senior Pastor Cedric D. Rouson will officiate.
