Portsmouth - Judy Laverne Allen-Robinson, affectionately called "Bamp", 42, of the 2500 block of Oakleaf Place was called home to rest September 16, 2007. Born in Norfolk, she was a member of Olive Grove Baptist Church.



She is predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Eula Allen; and brother, Henry Bright. Survivors include her husband, Demetrius L. Robinson of Portsmouth; son, Rathael Allen (Patricia) of Chesapeake; three sisters, Joyce Ferebee of Portsmouth, Joanne Bright of Chesapeake and Lillie Allen of Virginia Beach; four brothers, George Bright (Beverly) and Clinton Bright of Chesapeake, Richard Allen (Pauline) of Suffolk, and Tony Allen of Chesapeake; two grandchildren, Bianca and Brazil, six aunts, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.



A funeral service will be held 1pm Saturday at Bethel Baptist Church. Interment will follow at the Nixon Family Cemetery. Viewing will be held 2pm - 7pm Friday at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake.
