Chesapeake – Julia Mae Hicks Jordan, 84, of the 1000 block of Elysian Place was called home on October 24, 2011. Born in North Carolina, she was employed for forty years with the United States Department of Defense as a Budget Analyst until her retirement.
She is survived by her grandson, Shaun R. Green; brothers, Gene and Tommy; nephews, Chuckie and Charles; nieces, Linette, Joyce and Renee, and a host of great grandchildren, great nephews, great nieces, cousins, and friends.
Today we celebrate your life. We love you Julia.
A funeral service will be held today at 11:00 a.m. at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake. Interment will follow at Roosevelt Memorial Park. Condolences can be offered to the family at www.pretlowandsons.com .
