Chesapeake - Kenneth Hall, 38, of the 1800 block of Sparrow Road was called home to be with the Lord on April 18, 2015. He was born on January 5, 1955 to Betty Anne Williams and the late Michael Britton and raised by his two loving grandparents, the late Mr. Raymond and Lucy Hall. He was a member of New Light Church in Chesapeake.

He is survived by his mother, Betty Anne Williams of Chesapeake; daughter, Kayla Williams of Suffolk; brother, Michael Gillespie of Fayetteville, NC; sister, Patrice Gillespie of Fayetteville, NC; grandmother, Carolyn Britton of Norfolk; aunts, Gladys Johnson of Chesapeake, Ruth Lewis of Norfolk, Susie Harris of Chesapeake, Dorothy Norfleet of Norfolk, and Rose Williams (George) of Mitchellville , MD; uncles. Johnny Hall of Chesapeake, Charlie Hall of Scotland Neck, NC, Roger Hall (Estelle) of Chesapeake, Edward Knight (Carolyn) of Virginia Beach, Darryl Britton of Norfolk, Linwood Britton of Fayetteville, NC, and Clarence Britton of Norfolk; a special friend, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

A funeral service will be held 1pm Thursday at New Light Church, 2418 Cedar Road in Chesapeake. Interment will follow at Roosevelt Memorial Park. Viewing will be from 4-7pm Wednesday at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home.
