Kenneth "Kenny" Perry was born on July  24, 1965 to Rebecca Diggs. He was born and raised in Norfolk, Va.  He received his education through the Norfolk Public School system. He had various jobs as a laborer.

Kenny loved music and to dance. He aspired to be a DJ. His radio was always close by.  Kenny was also a talented artist. He always brought a smile to everyone's face with his artwork. He had an infectious personality that attracted people from many backgrounds.

On September 10, 2023 his life was cut short from this earthly life to eternal peace and rest. He was preceded in death by Grandmother Vernie Perry Weldon, Uncle Kenneth Perry, Uncle William Perry, brothers David Perry, Jerome Perry, Barry Diggs, sister Angela Diggs, and nephew Dominique Johnson.

He has left behind a loving mother Rebecca Diggs, sister Sandra Diggs, brothers Jimmy Diggs and Ernest Diggs,  a host of nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends who will miss him so much. Loving memories will always be cherished by his life partner Sherry Cherry of 36 years.
