Kevin Lorenzo Jones, 63, of the 1900 block of Springfield Avenue was called home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 23, 2023. Kevin "Biggie Small" as he was affectionately known was educated in the Chesapeake Public School system and attended Morgan State University and Centura College. He retired from TDH/Chesapeake Juvenile Services, after 30 years of faithful and dedicated service. He was a longtime member of First Baptist Church Campostella, where he worshipped and served faithfully.

He leaves to cherish his memory a wife, Pamela N. Jones of Norfolk, VA, two children, Courtney N. Jones Gaines (Erin) of Herndon, VA and Chad L. Jones (Amanda) of Chesapeake, VA; two brothers, Darryl L. Jones and Iris L. Jones, Jr. (JoAnn) of Chesapeake, VA; one sister, Jennifer A. Holmes-Scott (Donald) of Chesapeake, VA; a special aunt, Ethel P. Thompson of Chesapeake, VA; one aunt, Dorothy Whitmore of Chesapeake, VA; one uncle, Junius L. Thompson, Sr. of Chesapeake, VA; four grandchildren, Zoey, Harrison, Lennox, and London; five nieces; three nephews; eight great nieces and nephews; one great, great nephew; three sisters-in-love; two best friends, Eric Northern (Samantha) of Greensboro, NC and Ronald Bruce of Columbia, MD; and a host of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, the late Iris L. Jones, Sr. and Marion J. Jones and a sister, Veronica Y. Jones.

Funeral services will be held 12:00 p.m. Saturday, June 3, 2023 at First Baptist Church Campostella. Interment will follow at Roosevelt Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Friday, June 2, 2023 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at the church. Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home are in charge of arrangements.
