Williamsburg – Lakeisha Diane Green, 22, of the 100 block of Brookhaven departed this life March 19, 2009. Born in Norfolk, she was employed with Fresh Market for over 2 years.

She is survived by her parents, Florene D. Green of Richmond and Walter Newsome of Norfolk; sister, Nicole A. Newsome of Norfolk; foster grandmother, Janet Hodnett of Norfolk; fiance, Brandon West of Williamsburg, and a host of aunts, ucles, cousins, relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held 12 noon Monday, March 30, 3009 at Solid Rock Church. Interment will follow at Roosevelt Memorial Park. Viewing will be held Sunday, March 29, 2009 from 12 pm – 5 pm at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake. The family will receive friends at 410 Clifton Street, Norfolk, and will assemble there at 11:00 a.m. the day of the service for the procession to the church.
