Virginia Beach- Larry Anderson Branch, 59, departed this life April 7, 2011. Born in Norfolk, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps on October 31, 1969; he retired after 20 years of loyal and dedicated service to his country.

He is predeceased by his mother, Vera Dobbins and his brother, Lorenzo Branch. Survivors include his children, Larry A. Branch II, Dontey L. Branch Sr., Subrina A. Branch, and Darnel J. Branch; his father, Robert Branch; one brother, Tyrone Branch (Rosemary); two sisters, Sarah Johnson and Cynthia Acosta; twelve grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday in the chapel of Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake. Albert G. Horton Memorial Veterans Cemetery, Suffolk.. Viewing will be held from 3pm – 7pm Wednesday at the funeral home. You may offer condolences to the family at www.prwtlowandsons.com .
