Chesapeake – Lessie Mae Chandler, 66, of the 2000 block of Linster Street, departed this life March 29, 2011.

She was predeceased by her husband, Sylvester Chandler. Survivors include her daughter Betty Monk (Ronald) of Portsmouth and son, Leon Norman of Chesapeake; seven sisters, Vivian Harvey (William) Queenie Jones, Alice Lennon of Chesapeake, Edith Green(James), Tina Norman, Beulah Fletcher and Stephanie Harris (Timothy); two brothers, Thomas Norman and Calvin Norman (Claudette) all of Chesapeake; one grandchild, two uncles, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A funeral service will be held 12:00 pm Saturday at House of Prayer for All People. Interment will follow at Roosevelt Memorial Park, Viewing will be held from 3 pm – 7 pm Friday at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake. You may offer condolences to the family at www.pretlowandsons.com .
