Lester Byrd Leacraft entered into eternal peace on January 30, 2024. He was born to Ann Eve and Frank Leacraft on 10/5/1935 in Norfolk County (Chesapeake, VA). He's a graduate of Norfolk County High School after which he enlisted in the United States Army. Lester was a certified Notary and was certified in credit repair. He was a private man and enjoyed reading and smoking his tobacco pipe. He enjoyed dressing and enjoying life.

He was predeceased by his mother, father and sister Shirley Leacraft Holmes. He leaves behind to cherish his memories his one and only daughter Alma Lawrence; four grandchildren Calvin, Amber, Shelley and Shelton; five great-grandchildren Omari, Je'len, Jah'Kylah, Ju'elz and Jah'Zeer; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be held on February 12, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Little Zion Missionary Baptist Church, located at 141 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake, VA 23320.

Burial will be February 13, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veteran's Cemetery, located at 5310 Milners Road, Suffolk, VA 23434.
