Obituary
Portsmouth - Lillian Barker McMurren, 81, of the 1005 Warfield Drive was called home to be with the Lord on June 19, 2011.
She is predeceased by her husband, Rev. Oscar S. McMurren. Survivors include her daughter, Everlette McMurren, and her grandson, Breyon McMurren of Portsmouth and a host of relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday at St. Thomas A.M.E. Zion Church, 1700 Melon Street, Norfolk. Interment will follow at Old Oak Grove Cemetery in Elizabeth, NC. Viewing will be held Friday from 3pm - 7pm at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake.
