Chesapeake - Linda Moore Young, 59, of the 600 block Marcus Street departed his life on December 29, 2013. Born in Elizabeth City, North Carolina, she was employed at the Norfolk Naval supply Center for 29 years until her retirement.

She is survived by her husband, Mack "Jimmy" Young, Jr. of Chesapeake; two sisters, Sandra Dudley of Portsmouth and Eleanor Beal of Norfolk; two brothers, Lloyd Moore, Jr. and Floyd Moore of North Carolina, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake. Interment will follow at Albert G. Horton, Jr., Memorial Veterans Cemetery, Suffolk.
