Linear Clyde Cherry, Jr. was called home to be with the Lord on July 19, 2022. A funeral service will be held 12 noon Sunday, July 31, 2022 at St. Thomas AME Zion Church, 1700 Melon Street, Norfolk. Viewing will be held at the church Sunday before the homegoing service. Interment will be held 1:00 pm Monday, August 1, 2022 at Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery, Suffolk. Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake is in charge of arrangements.
