Lisa Maria Edwards was called home to be with the Lord January 21, 2023. She is survived by her son Johnathan Khalif Forde, her mother Sally Davis and her devoted father, William C. Davis, her brother and best friend Dwayne Eric Davis, niece Ava Davis all of Chesapeake, Virginia; aunts and uncles: Hellena Mayo (Joe L.), Shirley McDaniel of Margate, Florida, James McDaniel (Maggie) of Jacksonville, Florida, Iva Della McDaniel, Lura Dean McDaniel, and Carolyn McDaniel all of Latta, South Carolina,  a special cousin who was more like a brother, Fitzgerald McDaniel, and a extended family that includes a host of cousins, family and friends.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 28, 2023 at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, 500 Liberty Street, Chesapeake. Viewing will befrom 4pm until 6pm Friday, January 27, 2023 at the funeral home.
