Portsmouth – Lolita Lavern Moore, 46, of the 1100 block of Darren Drive departed this life April 24 2009. She was born in Ahoskie, North Carolina.

She is predeceased by her father; Marvin E. Williams, Sr. Survivors include her husband, Melvin Moore, and mother, Mary Lee Williams of Portsmouth; one sister, Veta Rountree (Wayne) of Suffolk; three brothers, Bobby E. Williams, Marvin E. Williams, and Rick Lawrence (Georgia) of Portsmouth; five aunts, one uncle, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
