Portsmouth - Lucille Roscoe, 95, quietly passed this life March 6, 2010. She attended New Galilee Baptist Church in Chesapeake, until her health began to fail.

She was predeceased by her husband Joseph Roscoe , a son William Joseph Roscoe, parents, Essie Bynum and William Davis, and a step daughter Mary Bell Bullock . Survivors include a step sister, Thelma Pittman of Chesapeake, son, John Roscoe (Elizabeth) of Chesapeake ,step son, Bishop Alexander Person (Helen) of Philadelphia, PA; four daughters, Gloria Beamon (Bill) of Chesapeake, Mittie Mann (Annias )of Portsmouth, Essie Johnson of Chesapeake, and Delzara Wilson of Virginia Beach; 50 grandchildren, 153 great grandchildren, 130 great- great grandchildren, and 2 great-great- great, grandchildren, and a host relatives and friends.
