Mable Inez Griffin was called home to be with the Lord on August 26, 2017 after a short illness. She worked for Hall Farms for over 55 years, and she was a member of the United House of Prayer.

She is survived by her children Evelyn Griffin, Betty Griffin, Cathy Riddick (Maurice) and Cynthia Brook (Michael) of Chesapeake, Mable M. Griffin of Portsmouth, Vanessa Griffin of Norfolk, Wanda M. Riddick (Rayfield) of Virginia Beach, and Willie E. Griffin of Chesapeake; a special granddaughter Angela Davis; a special niece Brenda Whitaker, and a host of relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 11a.m. Saturday, September 2, 2017 at United House of Prayer for All People, 1433 Whittamore Road, Chesapeake. Viewing will be held from 5-7pm Friday at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake.
