Virginia Beach - Maggie M. Williams, 91, of the 5200 block of Richard Road, was called home to be with the Lord on August 28, 2016 at her residence. A native of Gates County, North Carolina, she retired as a nursing assistant after many years of dedicated service in healthcare.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Burlin Williamson. Survivors include two sons, Carl Williamson and his wife Hattie Williamson of Virginia Beach, Virginia and Louis Williamson and his wife Jean Williamson of Denver, Colorado and a host of relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Great Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Roosevelt Memorial Park. Viewing will be held from 4-7pm Friday at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.pretlowandsons.com.
