Chesapeake - Magie K. Bass of the 2900 block of Sunrise Avenue departed this life June 28, 2007. Born in Ahoskie, North Carolina, she was a member Antioch Baptist Church, Hampton.



She is predeceased by her husband, Willie E. Bass and her daughter, Virginia Brown. Survivors in include a sister, Eernise Hicks (Otis) of Portsmouth, son-in-law, Wardell E. Brown of Chesapeake, five grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.



A funeral service e will be held 11:00 am Tuesday in the chapel of Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake. Interment will follow at Roosevelt Memorial Park. Viewing will be Monday from 2pm - 7pm at the funeral home.
