Marchello Thompson, well known as "Chello", 43, entered into rest on November 17, 2023. Chello was born to Mervin and the late Cynthia Thompson on August 14, 1980. During his forty-three years with us, Chello always enjoyed cooking, his music, family and his aspirations for business management.

Chello met Claudette Michelle Thompson as childhood friends and in 2006 they joined in marriage and during that time he gained a stepson Desmond and they also had two sons together Brandon and Makhi.

Chello is preceded in death by his mother, Cynthia Person Thompson. He is survived by his father, Mervin D. Thompson Jr; Grandmother Lillian "Nana" Thompson; his three sons. Desmond Johnson, Brandon Thompson, and Makhi Thompson. Chello is also survived by his two brothers: Shawn Thompson (Michelle), Brandon Thompson, (Tanieka, Z'eariyah, N'Talya, King, Lavelle) and many  aunt's, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 8, 2023,11am at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, 500 Liberty Street, Chesapeake, Va 23324.
