Marian Y. Foxworth, 84, went home to be with the Lord peacefully on October 8, 2022. She is survived by her husband Calvin L. Foxworth, four children Kim A. Reid, Yvonne A. Gilliard (Michael), Kevin D. Shamblee, and Christopher S. Foxworth (Gwendolyn), four sisters Ophelia Shambly, Delores Birke, Mable White, and Patricia Weaver (Herman) and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, October 21, 2022 at Bethany Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery, Suffolk. Viewing will be held from 5pm until 7pm Thursday, October 20, 2022 at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake.
