Marian C. Skinner, 92, of Norfolk, Virginia passed away on April 14, 2019.  She leaves behind many beloved family members: her husband, Alfred E. Skinner, sister Leslie Cobbs, sons Christopher Carrington Sr. and Donald Carrington, 12 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, 13 great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members.  Marian was predeceased by her mother and father, Mary Riddick and Eugene Riddick, siblings Linwood Riddick, Shirley Claxton, Beatrice Riddick, and Ruth Perkins, two sons Alfred Eugene Carrington Sr. and Walter Carrington III.  Viewing will be held at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home on Thursday, April 18, 2019 from 5pm-7pm.  The funeral will take place on Friday, April 19, 2019, 11:00 a.m. at Greater Saint Andrews A.M.E Church.
