Norfolk - Marion Elizabeth Pleasant, 83, of the 1500 block of Berkley Avenue departed this life June 15, 2007. Born in Norfolk, she was a longtime member of St. Thomas A.M.E. Zion Church.



She is predeceased by her husband, John Pleasant. Survivors include her sister, Eleanor Alexander of Chesapeake, stepson, Stanley Wilson of Suffolk, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.



A funeral service will be held Thursday at noon at St. Thomas A.M.E. Zion Church. Interment will follow at Roosevelt Memorial Park. Viewing will be held Wednesday from 2pm - 7pm at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake.
