Chesapeake – Marjorie S. Bradley, 84, of the 2300 block of Tapscott Avenue was called home to be with the Lord October 25, 2010. Born in Norfolk, she was employed at the Virginian-Pilot for 20 years until her retirement. She was a longtime faithful member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church.
She was predeceased by her husband, Willie T. Bradley, daughter Joyce T. Bradley, sons, Ronald Bradley and Tyrone Bradley, and granddaughter, Theresa A. Bradley. Survivors include daughters, Dorothy Brandon (Henry) of Suffolk and Marsha Bradley of Chesapeake; son, Willie Bradley Jr. of Chesapeake; two sisters, Mary Magnum of New York and Thelma Sanderlin of Washington DC; eight grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church, Norfolk. Interment will follow at Roosevelt Memorial Park.
