Obituary

Marsha Lee Bradley was born April 1, 1954 to the late Willie T. Bradley, Sr. and Marjorie Sanderlin Bradley. She was the baby girl; the 5th of six children. She attended Norfolk Public School and graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in 1972. Upon completion, Marsha entered Norfolk State University, studying Early Childhood Development, before departing for an apprenticeship at Newport News Ship Building. Marsha was actively employed there for over 15 years as a welder. She retired afterward and devoted the remainder of her life to serving her community.

Marsha was a faithful member of Mount Lebanon Baptist Church since 1990. She has actively served on several ministries to include: The Cathedral Usher Board, Pastor's Support, and Seasoned Saints Ministry. She was a member of Hiram United Sovereign Grand Lodge Electra Chapter 357, and several social clubs that were dedicated to traveling. Her love for the game of Bid Whist was unmatched.

Marsha was one-of-a-kind. Born on April Fool's Day, she was quite the comedic relief. She kept those surrounded by her entertained, full of laughter, and never held back her love. She displayed a life of gratitude with a smile, and her Faith was an encouragement to persevere in the face of many struggles without complaint. Marsha enjoyed spending time with her family, watching her favorite TV shows, playing Pokeno, cooking, and loving on the pride and joy of her life, her grandson Keymari.

She is survived by her daughter Keeonya Bradley and grandson Keymari Reese of Chesapeake; a brother, Willie T. Bradley, Jr. of Chesapeake; a sister, Dorothy Y. Brandon of Suffolk; a special niece/daughter, Adrian Wright (James) of Suffolk; a host of beloved family members and friends. Her mentorship and motherly influence extended beyond her family. Marsha will be missed but not forgotten. Her legacy will live on through all of the lives that she has touched.
