Marshall V. Brooks, Sr., 65, peacefully passed away Saturday, June 1, 2013 in Norfolk, VA.
He is survived by his wife, Gardenia Brooks; five children, Feleacer Wilmer (Ronald), Joyce Brooks, Marshall Brooks, Jr., Marcus Brooks (Sharisse) and Marlin Brooks; four sisters, Betty Bussell, Barbara Brown (Don), Lendora Alexander, and Linda Gamble (Alonzo); two brothers, Dennis J. Brooks and Daniel Brooks (Joyce); an adoptive son, Rudolph Baum; five grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Dennis R. Brooks and Luella Brooks and his siblings, Leon Brooks, Donald Brooks and Doris A. Brooks.

Viewing will be held at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home located at 500 Liberty Street, Chesapeake on Friday, June 7 2013 from 3pm to 7pm. The funeral service will be held at The United House of Prayer For All People, 1433 Whittamore Road, Chesapeake, VA 23322 on Saturday, June 8, 2013 at 11 am.
