Obituary
Chesapeake - Martha Elizabeth Walwyn went home to be with the Lord on November 15, 2011 at the age of 97. Known to many as "Aunt Liz", Martha was a native of St. Kitts, B.W.I. Later in life, she resided in New York City and Chesapeake, Virginia.
Martha is survived by her nephew, Charles Walwyn, of Chesapeake,Virginia and her granddaughter, Lauren Hinton, of Yonkers, New York, along with a host of nieces, nephews and very dear friends.
Her funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 19, at 11:00 a.m. at the New Hope Baptist Church, 1317 Gust Lane, Chesapeake. Interment will follow at Roosevelt Memorial Park. Viewing will be held Friday from 3 pm – 7 pm at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home Chesapeake.
