Mary Lelia Holloway-Holley, 75, of the 2500 block of Narrow St was called home to be with the Lord October 3, 2012. Born in Virginia Beach, she was an employee of the City of Chesapeake until her retirement. She was a faithful member of Disciples of Jesus Church, Chesapeake.
She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Mary Elizabeth Hodnett. Survivors include her husband, Mike Holley; four daughters, Corlis Jefferson, Wanda Lyles, Lelia Lott and Sonja Johnson; six sisters, Evelyn Sanderson-Welch, Jean Martha Cuffee, Fannie McCoy, Thelma Moseley, Joyce Warren and Earnestine Hodnett; two brothers, Alexander Hodnett and Amos Hodnett; seven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A funeral service will be held 11:00a .m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church South Hill. Interment will follow at Roosevelt Memorial Park.
