Norfolk - Mary Etta Knight, 84, of the 3000 block of Riverside Drive departed this life January 18, 2007. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.



She is predeceased by her husband, Johnnie Knight, Sr. Survivors include five daughters, Mary E. Brown, Shirley M. Williams (Robert), Carolyn G. Wyatt (Nathaniel), and Doris D. Bingham (Robert) all of Norfolk, and Eunice L. Eubanks (Frankie) of Washington, DC; two sons, Johnnie Knight, Jr. of Norfolk, and Lawrence S. Knight (Annette) of Virginia Beach; two sisters, Catherine Anthony (Robert) of Scotland Neck, N.C., and Susie Harris (Sam) of Virginia Beach; one sister-in-law, Edither L. Hyman of Norfolk, fifteen grandchildren, twenty eight great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.



A funeral service will be held Wednesday at noon at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 3662 Humboldt Street, Norfolk. Viewing will be Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake. The family will receive friends at 3557 Riverside Drive, Norfolk.
