Mary Louise Griffin passed away, May 22, 2016, in Chesapeake. She was one day shy of her 95th birthday. M. Louise was predeceased by her husband Richard A. Griffin, Sr. and her son Meredith L. Griffin, Sr. She was a lifetime member of St. Joseph A.M.E. Zion Church, Chesapeake.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter Dorothy G. Lamb (Richard),a sister, Dorothy Mae Morris, a daughter-in-law, Josephine Griffin, and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

The funeral service will be held at St. Joseph A.M.E. Zion Church, Chesapeake, Friday, May 27, 2016 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery, Suffolk. Viewing will be held Thursday, May 26, 2016 at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, 500 Liberty St, Chesapeake, from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
