Norfolk – Mary E. Marshall, 84, of the 2700 Gate House Road was called home to be with the Lord May 31, 2010. Born in Norfolk, she was a member of St. Mark UCC.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Nathaniel Marshall. Survivors include five daughters, Paulette Harper, Almeta Askew, Adell Davis, Mary Derrell and Barbara Jackson all of Norfolk; one son, Nathaniel Marshall of Norfolk, twelve grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake. Interment will follow at Roosevelt Memorial Park.
