IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Michael Anthony
Gallman
July 28, 1970 – December 3, 2021
Michael Anthony Gallman Jr. was born July 20th 1970 in Amityville, N.Y. to the late Mattie Louise and Michael Anthony Gallman Sr. He was preceded in death by his sister, Reverend Cassandia Louise Gallman-Kemp. In his early years, Michael grew up in a loving home with his parents and three other siblings. He attended Wyandanch Memorial High School where he excelled in Football and graduated (Class of 1989).
As for his career choices, Mike was a jack of all trades, working in the warehousing, hospitality and catering industries for several years. Even still his true passion lay between two things, cooking and family. Whether it be because family was in town, it was a holiday, or snow was on the ground and he wanted to be reminded of good times, if you asked him, he would deliver some of the most mouthwatering food. If he was here, he would say "I know it!" He loved to cook and anyone who ate his food would agree. When I say he loved children, he loved all of our children. Mike was instrumental in raising each and every one of his nieces and nephews. Whether it be cooking pancakes or potty-training Tyler and Ian, watching Scooby Doo, playing "Creeper" or making Sierra's special chicken, answering questions about life or letting two teenage boys go to work with him (Theo and Cord), giving advice to Brandon, being a fifth string quarterback coach to Xzavier from the stands or letting Peyton and Riley call and take pictures with his phone, this was his life! All in all, he was truly his father's son in every sense of the word, not just namesake. He was a homie, lover (Cootie Man) and a friend to all that need him. Not to mention an avid Jets and Knicks fan.
He leaves to cherish his memories two sisters: Razan St. John of Virginia Beach, VA and Shawna Gallman of Gastonia, NC; his daughter Shannon Victoria Cooper of Charlotte, NC; his niece Sierra Michaele; five nephews: Michael T Gallman-Kemp "Theo" {Shanta}, Cordero Spencer Kemp {Cerissa}, Xzavier M. Kemp, Tyler St. John and Ian St. John, his furry companions: Diesel Cole, Elsa Elizabeth, Teddy Roscoe and Snoop Isaac; as well as a host of other family members, loved ones and friends.
