Mildred W. Cuffee, 94, of the 2200 block of Long Ridge Road, went home to be with the Lord May 26, 2016. Born in Norfolk County, Va to the late Thaddeus and Piccola Wilson, she was a faithful member of Gabriel Chapel AME Zion Church her entire life.

She was preceded in death by her husband Reginald P. Cuffee, daughter Rev. Glorious Marie Cuffee Moore and granddaughter Carmenita L. Moore. Survivors include daughters Annette Cuffee Gillcrese (Richard), Sharon Cuffee Armstrong (Martin), son Reginald T. Cuffee, special nephew Ronnie Wilson, sisters Theresa Holmes, Cordelia Cuffee, Grizella Winston, Trusanna Dickerson, special grandson Corjo C. B. Cuffee (Adrienne), 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Her funeral will be held at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at Gabriel Chapel AME Zion Church. Interment will follow at Roosevelt Memorial Park. Viewing will be held Tuesday, May, 31, 2016, from 3 to 7 p.m. at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, 500 Liberty St., Chesapeake, Va.
