Obituary
Mildred Elaine Hockaday, 65, departed this life December 5, 2011. Born in Norfolk, she retired from the Norfolk school system.
She is survived by her uncle, Sandy Hockaday (Gwendolyn); caregiver and friend, Eleanor Jones; three aunts, Eleanor Davenport, Rosa Hockaday and Clementine Hockaday and a host of cousins and friends.
A funeral service will be held noon Friday in the chapel of Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake. Interment will follow at Roosevelt Memorial Park. Viewing will be Thursday from 3pm – 7pm at the funeral home. Condolences can be offered to the family at www.pretlowandsons.com .
