Mildred D. Webster, 86, of the 4000 block of Williamson Street was called home to be with the Lord on July 6, 2013. She was a member of the New Mt. Zion Church of God Holiness .
She is predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Simon D. Webster, and her eldest daughter, Regina W. Jackson. Survivors include four daughters: Phyllis W. Ogburn, of Lanham, Maryland, Vernell Webster and Vernett Webster of Chesapeake, and Sheila Webster, of Chesterfield Heights, Virginia; seven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, five nephews, eight nieces, one sister, Eunice F. Johnson of Maryland, two sisters-in-law, and a host of cousins, relatives and friends.
A home going service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday at New Mount Zion Church of God Holiness, 1042 Philpotts Rd in Norfolk. Interment will follow at Roosevelt Memorial Park. Viewing will be held from 3pm-7pm Thursday at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake. Condolences can be offered to the family at www.pretlowandsons.com.
